The NWCU has not had its funding confirmed by Government. I cannot see any statement from the RSPB about this on this site, nor any attempt to get its members to write to MP's, or sign the petition on 38 degrees: https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-and-protect-the-national-wildlife-crime-unit Making the NWCU the latest victim to the eternal spending review will turn the UK towards being another Malta, a land where the shotgun rules. Everybody interested in birds should visit the NWCU website and see what work it does.

I would like to hear some official comment from the RSPB. There is actually a very good article in the enviroment pages of the Guardian about this subject, and no sign of any responce from the RSPB in that article. I'm not sure how to post the link. If someone can post that link, I'll be most appreciated.
