First egg 27/3

Here is a view from camera 2, which looks over the parapet and the town in the distance.

It shows that the female doesn't go too far from the nest with an egg laid. something we never saw before

It was due today, but all i could see was a bird sat on the nest.

The fourth (& presumably final) egg was laid at 05.58 this morning. Ian

The first chick has hatched, according to the blog probably on 3 May but it looks like the first definite site of it was today. Ian

I saw the shell on the nest but couldnt see if it was whole or broken. I was thinking she may have lost an egg, I couldn't look closer while on phone.
