Lovely Mrs P!
I've had some good news this morning....
I've known for a while now about a pair of Peregrines in a quarry a couple of miles from me, for the last few years they have tried to raise a family but despite having trail cameras up either the eggs or chicks have been taken.
A few weeks ago I saw that Emley Church had put up a nest box and that gave me the idea of approaching the local birding group to see if the nearest Church at South Anston would consider the idea, I've bumped into the chap again this morning on my patch and the Church have given the OK for a box, I don't think the box will be in view like Sheffield but it will at least give them an option to move out of the quarry and into the box.
