Wow ! Turns out the new female peregrine at Torness is a Cockney ! BH orange GR86148 was ringed as Pullus Female 3/3 on 19 05 2014 at Vauxhall, Gr London. No other reports since. Many thanks to all involved in the detective work as ring was hard to read.
So does anyone know about the Vauxhall peregrines?
Is it normal for a peregrine to travel that far from their place of birth?

Well I think it is unusual, that is why it has been highlighted.
There was a great saga in the Netherlands in 2007 when a peregrine from Belgium (S2) came and killed the Gemert female. That has to be one of the most gripping peregrine stories ever.
