Happy New Year everyone!
Great start with lovely captures of our pair ... but mighty strange about that 'third' one ... maybe a late 'first footer' Lol!
Good to have some colour Scylla, hope you are continuing to improve!
Gales seem to be a bit of a fixture just lately, another blow overnight promised here, stay safe all!
Good preen gives us lovely views of feathers
For all you industrious peeps who likely aren't glued to live-streaming! Lol
Awake, on tray, really itchy!
Lovely captures and vids, Kate and Wendy. :)
18:50 It is just visible on the middle beam
19:10 To the back beam
19:50 Now preening on the middle beam
20:53
21:01 He looked towards the exit of the barn but has decided to stay on the front beam for a little while longer
21:07 Left the barn
21:32 The excitable Flapper paid a three minute visit to the barn. It didn't make any calls.
On the tray. It then went behind the box and did a PS
Came onto the middle beam
Stood on the front beam for a short time, I thought it was going to fly down to the right as it was looking in that direction but decided to leave the barn
22:01 One in with a loud screech. Straight onto the front beam, stayed a few seconds and then left
23:35 No more activity. Goodnight
Thanks for the story tonight Sandra, wasn't paying enough attention myself!
Right now but only one headlight!
Morning both...
10.30 Caught the cam changing from colour to black and white, strange timing!!!!
20:00 Resting on the middle beam
Whilst recording Owly I noticed a little bird flitting around by than white bin ... asked YT to slow uploaded footage but no chance to see what the bird is!
Bit of a bonus in that we get to study Owl movements slower than usual ...
It's thought to be a Barn Swallow. I was watching earlier after the male BO left the box, warning calls from what sounded like two of them. It's all quiet now.
