I'll have a go at leaving it recording tomorrow Wendy to see what happens but so far I've not had any problems.

Got it recording both cams and it's gone past 6 minutes; going out on my patch at 7:30 and will leave it running.
Just had a thought wendy is it only dropping out when you set to record?
If you can watch normally ok it sounds like the problem is at your end, the cams don't know when you're recording.
