Deborah is one of those that does the DNA testing at Sheffield I've asked her if she is getting involved to see if it is one of ours or related to them.

From how I read the story Kate she already had a Peregrine (the one in the feezer) that probably had a ring on and died, she then obtained this one illegally and I'm guessing someone saw the ring and it didn't match the age of the bird so reported it.
