Welcome to our little group following the Cornish Barn Owls, hoping for a successful season in 2017.
We have a couple (female ringed) getting to know each other, no mating yet (that we have seen).
There was a visit to the barn earlier, didn't stay long, floated out stage right:

The barn cam is still badgering a lot and while it's not the stream is still on-off-on-off - the intermittent sound being the telltale - and there's a huge, variable lag on it.

Hmm!! whatever our Birdies have not got used to it yet, but at least they are going in Box and not flying away.
I remember when Scylla recorded the box when the 2 owlets were ringed, there were children in the barn witnessing it.
Am doiing SR owls so sorry I haven't cropped this. Just for the record, we had an owl clunk into view a few moments ago:

Does anyone know what is in the direction that owl flew to? If not, I'll ask Matt, as then we'd have something to call it :-)

Finished the SR owls, now researching laptops ;-) It's a blooming nightmare - have you ever noticed how many variations there are on the same model? All those extra letters and numbers after the main model number? It's just so you can't tell exactly what you'd be getting! >:(
