Hi Ian the queen of twitter (Wendy) notified me while I was on the train into Sheffield that the Waxwings where at Hagglers Corner on Queens Rd heading up near Bramhall Lane..There were reports of 200+ in the last few days but I only saw 30 Maximum, but as I walked down from the Peregrines there are Rowan trees all over the place so they could turn up anywhere.

Thanks Catlady yep it was a brilliant morning.
Sorry to be late in response, but weather so fantastic here SW, just had to get out..
Alan fantastic shots as always, love the one of her with one foot on the spire.(3rd down 1;07)
Thank you so much, really appreciate.

Mr P, sporting his leg ring, @ 13.36
Why did it take me so long (noticed only a few days ago) to spot his 'bling'? ... quite evident now more nestbox visits I suppose!
In reply to WendyBartter:
Was a great pity that our pair didn't co-ordinate their nestbox visits to the time that D was there!!
Before he arrived
After he left
Get them next time D!
Thanks, Everyone, for the pics and posts. Are your toes warmed up yet, Alan?
Kind regards, Ann
