After a few quiet days we're off to Arne again tomorrow. Weather forecast looks lovely, and I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of the elusive WTE! Wish me luck!

We can compare notes, Albert, I think I'm heading that way too..... but there is also a Birds of Poole Harbour winter safari that last I looked had spaces, so I'm in a quandry!

Couldn't see owt... was all misty til almost lunchtime lol
We got there about 12.30pm and it was all clear! Didn't see much but highlights were a GSW, curlews and a firecrest. Lovely walk around Shipstal followed by a nice pint by the river in Wareham!
I went on about 1, back was hurting. Sorting pics now, saw a 'crest but til I see on screen only 75% sure it was gold... saw curlews, and 4 spoonbills at the end of the spit.. Treecreepers too :o)
