Yes, Sesalines in Fornells has a sailing club called Menorca sailing that is a great facility to use if you love dinghy sailing. You can read about them on the internet.

The area is fantastic for seeing Bee-eaters but as nature is what it is, there has been a decline of the species over the years. So the Bee-eater colony has got smaller and smaller over the years. Last time I was there the farm was for sale and the sandy areas still intact. Do not know if that is still the case because the area is in the middle of a cow field.
Bee-eaters like sandy areas to nest only a bit like Sand Martins here in the UK.
Have got some photos of them which I will post here as soon as I can find them

Yes Minorca and Menorca is the same place just different spellings.

You say you have visited St Thomas beach. Was it a relax holiday, family holiday that you had or was it looking for wildlife.
When was the last time you went there?
Never been there because the sailing took up most of our holiday.so we stayed in one area of the island.

I have completed the Menorcan reports on my other bird Forums but not on the RSPB Forum but it was from a while back so I will share bits and pieces here in this thread instead.

If you want to read them I will aim you in the right direction so you can read one or two of them.
