An excellent report and beautifully illustrated as well, TJ. Thanks so much for posting all those photos and for the captions and the bit of history. Impossible to choose a favourite. One Red Squirrel had ear tufts and the other seemed not to have them--is that a gender and/or an age difference? I loved the pile of pine cone debris--they must eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in the same spot for ages.

Another excellent selection to finish your trip, thanks for sharing.

Apart from the shed load of raptors on offer one of my lasting memories os Spain was being driven along a plateau road and having to stop because of migrating butterflies,Tortoise I think, heck of a sight.
