Hi everyone, thank you so much for submitting all of your pictures, the closing date for entries has now passed (31 March) so please don't submit any more pictures as we can only consider the ones loaded up whilst the competition was open.
If you have any pictures you would still like to share with the RSPB community then we have lots of other galleries where you can add them such as the wildlife galleries.
Our judges will be looking through the great selection and we'll be in touch soon and thanks again for your contributions!
when do we find out who has won?
Very good question! The judges are currently deliberating and hope to reveal the winners at some stage next week!!!
Are the winners notified first? any updates of when this week?

Hi Booboo, yes the winners will be notified first, the judges are currently still deliberating. When they have come to a conclusion and notified the winners we will publish a link to the selected final 12. Thank you for your patience!
Tikerbell60, we don't have any other photo competitions running just yet but you can share your pictures with other forum members on the number of other galleries on the site. If you are interested, the British Wildlife Photography Awards are open for entry until may, this might be of interest.

Hi, sorry for the delay in updating you, I've been in touch with the team running the competition and they provided the below information.
'It has been incredibly difficult to judge this year’s entries, as the standard was exceptional. We have selected the final twelve and will be making the decision on the top three images today. An announcement will follow imminently.’
