Sorry if I've missed anyone's posts been away on holiday and signal and interest was patchy.
Had a few firsts for me both in sightings and seeing them for the first time.
We stopped to check the map and it just happened to be near a little bridge and stream so decided to go and have a look and I'm glad I did as I spotted this little chap. Never seen one before.
I might be wrong but my app tells me it's a White throated dipper. Saw 2 others during the holiday
Catching insects
Another first for me. Spotted a Red Grouse sitting in a bush by the side of the road.
And another first for me it kept sitting on the caravan opposites aerial a little tree sparrow
Meadow pipet
Spotted a Skylark having a sand bath on the footpath in front of us it was there for ages
Sandpiper by a river
I just had to add one of the baby rabbits that was around our caravan
Then on the way home hubby took me on a detour so I could go to Bempton Cliffs didn't see the puffins but I still got several firsts
Thank you for looking

Hi Sal I hope this helps I have been looking in my RSPB BRITAINS ID GUIDES to the birds of Brittain and Ireland. The first pic is a dipper, the fourth pic is a Red Grouse, The pic after the rabbit is a Guillemot and the one after that is a razorbill and the 7th pic after the rabbit is a Kittiwake, Great pics Sal you had a great Holiday by the look of things and well done on all your firsts.
