My first sighting a Pheasant
A blackbird singing away not sure it will be a No 1 though
Well pleased to see this lovely Rabbit
And another, I have brought a fold up chair to sit on and positioned myself so I can be concealed and see what wildlife I can see, I have just seen a kestrel and saw it swoop down and return its prey to a tree unfortunately It is concealed with branches.
I could hear the pheasants in the long grass and then he popped his head up for a few seconds, enough time to catch a photo
Just checking the trees well there could have been an Owl in there somewhere ? but there wasn't.
A rustle in the long grass and another male pheasant, exciting stuff I wonder if there are any foxes about ? no not yet anyway. Back to looking for an Owl.
I am sat in my chair and about 30m away and to see wild Rabbits so close is great and they have no idea I am here, how good is that !
Having a chin wag.
Tea time, munch, munch.
A female Pheasant very close to me oblivious of my presence
Another male Pheasant
With the light fading after a lovely sunny day and the temperature dropping and my hands dropping off with the cold I decided to head off home before I turn into an icicle. Sorry
I didn't see an Owl but there is always another day, thanks for viewing.
Some nice consolation prizes ILR
Thanks Snappy I was pleased with what I saw and photographed but couldn't have stayed any longer It was freezing

That's a shame not seeing an owl, but the other photos are just as good ILR.

They certainly do fly past......
I never managed to find your posting of the little owl, and noticed a reply of mine from a while back had disappeared! However, the important part is you managed to see a little owl.
