Plenty of blue skies, ILR, and loads of fab birds... was that a float the Cormorant had? (looked to have something attached to it, fishing line?) Nice to see some warblers about... I've been limited to Chiffchaffs so far! I thought the Whoopers had generally gone by now, although there are some resident ones in Norfolk I think,

Anyhoo... fab selection, and thanks for sharing Smiley

Thanks for viewing PB pleased you liked them, The cormorant with attachment not sure what the attachment was but the venue is an RSPB reserve and no fishing is allowed on the lake. It maybe that the cormorant has picked up something from another lake who knows although the other week the cormorants were gathering nesting material and may have picked it up then. The line or whatever it was does not look like fishing line its much too thick for fishing line IMO.

Lots of action wherever you look at the moment ILR. You have quite a selection against that blue sky, lovely photo's. I have not seen a successful cormorant for a while now.

Many thanks Sal for viewing the photos, the weather was good and there was plenty of wildlife to see on the day and to see the Marsh harrier was a real treat even though it was far away in the distance but to get some Images of it pleased me no end. Thankyou again Sal for viewing.
