Titchwell must be one of my favourite RSPB reserves
Had a lovely morning walking around got a photo of a first for me so was pleased.
Common Snipe a first for me
Another Skylark landed on the path in front of us
Spotted a little Dunnock singing away
A Curlew
There was a few more Avocet there this week
A little Egret caught its self a little fish
While having coffee a little Robin came and sat with us
Hope you liked the photos thank you for looking
Them snipe are difficult to spot Sal , always good to get a first. I do like avocets, nice timing with the little egret.
Lovely photos Sal and well done with the common Snipe, it looks like you had a very good morning with your sightings. I am hoping to visit Norfolk this year and Titchwell Marsh will probably be on my list to visit. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Snappy. That was the first Snipe I've seen so was really pleased to get a photo of it. Most of the Avocets were asleep lol
Thank you ILR, I think you'll love Titchwell Marsh I would definitely recommend a visit. There was a Marsh Harrier flying around but couldn't get a photo of it, I've also seen Chinese water deer there as well.
Very nice Sal, good to see the well camouflaged snipe, the graceful avocets along with the lovely curlew and egret and an always welcoming Robin
