Just a few photos I've taken. A couple of first for taking photos for me so pleased about that.
If my app is correct I think this is a Turnstone any advice appreciated. sorry its not a very good photo as it was quite a distance away managed a couple of photos before it disappeared.
A little Skylark came and landed on the path in front of us.
As we were leaving I saw a Jay fly into a tree managed to get a few photos looks like he's tucking into a worm for his lunch.
Certainly looks very Turnstone-y to me Sal..... but I am a bit rubbish sometimes Well done with the Jay, notoriously camera shy, I find. Nice selection of ducks too. Were your Skylarks parachuting yet? The ones I saw last week were singing but not doing their characteristic flights. Thanks for sharing
It looks like a Turnstone to me, also to Google . Great to see the Jay, I had one sitting on a similar branch yesterday. Nice selection of birds.
Very nice selection Sal. Like the Skylark and the ducks. Lovely to see them all.
Yep. Deffo a Turnstone Sal, well captured. I always love to see Jays, such colourul birds ...
Thank you PimperneBloke I've been trying for ages to get a photo of a Jay. The Skylark seemed to be doing the characteristics flight which was nice to see and I love their song
Thank you Snappy
Thank you Mr Kes, I was pleased to see the Skylark
Thank you Billysdad, the Turnstone wasn't the easiest lol. I've been trying for ages to get a photo of a Jay they are colourful i found one of their blue feathers they are so pretty
As Billy’s dad said definitely a turnstone Sal and nice to see the skylark I rarely see them and the Jay is always a bonus. Thanks for sharing Sal
Lovely variety there ILR; No.5 might be a female pochard and agree with Turnstone, etc.
