Went out looking for things to photograph. Spotted a white bird on the bank of a river stopped to take a photograph thinking it was a Little Egret but turns out it was a Cattle Egret only the second time I've seen one (to my knowledge)
Spotted a Buzzard sitting in a tree managed to snap one photo before he decided he'd had enough
And some Wigeon.
All great finds Sal. I like the wigeon, just never seem to get that close to them.
Thank you Snappy, they do tend to swim off when you try and get photos lol these were really close to where we stopped but swam off as soon as I got out the car
Very nice sightings Sal and especially nice to have good views/photos of the C'Egret.

Another lovely set Sal
well done Sal a good find with the cattle egret I have only ever seen them once, two together at Fairburn ings reserve
Went to Titchwell Marsh again today and spotted 2 little ducks swimming and diving managed to snap a couple of photos of them. Had 2 different people tell me different things can't remember the first one but the second was a goldeneye. Put the photo through my bird app and it also says a goldeneye but just want to make sure any ideas please.
Also spotted a Reed bunting on the way to one of the hides, then a well camouflaged Skylark and a Lapwing.
Nice one of the reed bunting watching you over the leaves Sal.
The best place to photo Wigeon- if you can get there - is Frampton RSPB main centre
