Lovely bird, have never seen one myself. Don't know if they get down here in the South West of Devon.
Thanks William I don't see them very often and only in the winter. Never before in the garden. My RSPB book shows them all over the UK.

Great shot of the rook. We don't have them here. Just loads of jackdaws and loads of crows. To steal the fatballs.......
