Nice to see the wren.
I was at Tissington Well Dressings on Saturday, and was amazed to watch a wren, poss a pair, nest building in a dry stone wall.

Thanks Wendy . We were looking at a pair of Jersey cow calves, looked up it was on the door above.

Sadly not. I was on swallow/housemartin photoshoots.
By the time I'd have changed from big lens to normal, they'd disappeared in the gaps, with moss.
Got some nice swallow piccies.

There's been quite a few changes to the weekends events since your last visit, and even more post covid. But the well dressings are still as splendid.
