Thanks ILR . I have seen the odd one or two at a few places now. Even had two fly over at RSPB The Lodge reserve, on my last visit.

I think they follow me around Snappy on almost all of my walks I tend to see one. Nice photo Snappy
Ooh that one's been digging for worms. When I was young, I always thought they were called gardener's friends because they were following you around in the garden just to be friendly. It was only later I knew this was more to do with freshly upturned earth being ideal for them.

I frequently have one in the garden when I am digging. I often think I should try and get the classic photo of a robin on a spade handle.
