Coal Tit on a Gorse bush - Photo taken at: www.rspb.org.uk/.../the-lodge
Nice photo Snappy We have one blackbird that sits on our next doors roof and sings every late evening hoping for a mate probably and another one like PB’s wren spreads its wings over itself to keep cool when I first saw it I thought it was dead until I went into the garden and it flew off.
Thanks William . We have them fairly regular, although they do sometimes disappear for a while.
Thanks ILR . It's nice when you can see some regular birds about the garden.
20 Aug 24 - Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) - About the closest I have been to a heron out in the open that hasn't then flown off.Photo taken at: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/wrest-park
Note: You can click on the photo for an enlarged view, it will open in flickr.
