Not too long ago we had the lovely trio of Red Kites flying over our garden. We often see them individually or even pairs but not seen 3 together here before. A bit like the Egrets in that not too many years ago we never saw them here. Hope you enjoy

I think you will find it is a composite of 3 pictures of the same Kite with an added sky. Check the moult pattern on all 3 perfectly focused kites, oddly similar.

Hazy, check the moult pattern on the wings and tail of all 3 perfectly focused Kites and he added sky.
To be honest Bob I didn't look so closely at the photo until you mentioned this but now see what you mean; I took the photo and its description from Bambles on trust; as you say, nothing wrong with digital art and collage or composite type editing as long as that is explained in the description. I thought it a little strange to get three Kites in one frame when no feeding was mentioned where Kites tend to gather together. Perhaps Bambles can explain further ?
x-post with Bambles who confirms there were three Kites

You may have seen 3 Kites but that was a composite of 3 pictures of one Kite and an added sky which you tried to fool us with. As I said you lost all my trust and respect with that move.
