Any local nests?

You will be very lucky if anyone responds to a request for photographing nests.

Why would that be?

Rare nesting birds! Particularly schedule 1 nesting birds!

I certainly won’t be giving any information away!

A) Illegal to photograph birds nests
Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
"Intentionally or recklessly disturb any wild bird listed on Schedule 1 while it is nest building, or at a nest containing eggs or young, or disturb the dependent young of such a bird. "
B) We don't know you - you say you are a photographer but you could be an egg or bird thief

This is the full 1981 Wildlife and Countryside with all updates since 1981. Also large parts of the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside are different in Scotland. As I’ve said many times this act is a long read and is quite complex in large areas. But for anyone who has never read in full this 1981 act. Should read this right though.

I just want to go somewhere where I am certain that I will get close, sharp shots of birds.
