Have recently had luck getting woodpeckers to come and feed at the feeders. Here are a few recent photos. Juvenile and male adult.

I am sure you can. If you get enough birds into the garden and feed suet and fatballs you will probably find them coming. I didn't think the woodpecker would come over to my feeders, but once they find it is a safe space then they come in quite regularly. Especially this time of year with the fledglings.

Cor, beautiful! They're about in my neighbourhood but we don't see them very often.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
