This gull was surveying his surroundings.

A mallard spreading its wings at least I hope thats what he was doing.

He left the gas on ?

Thanks SM, It was a nice walk and I saw three Kingfishers that were flying Past at 100mph unfortunately none static, but I was happy to see what I did.

Well it's obvious it's not the river Calder down the back from me ILR..as you have birds in yours lol
That was a good walk with plenty to see ...I have still never seen a Cormorant in a tree lol...I see the sunshine has brought out the butterflies also.

Lol Linda, Its a fair walk there and back, but its worth the effort, but not too often life is too short. I have a lot more reserves to discover. As for the Kingies they need to have a pit stop now and again.
