Thanks Kathy and Dave glad you liked them. I agree with the sparrow, the photo was taken at distance and I wasn’t sure but Zo and yourself has confirmed it. I was hoping for a bird I had not seen before but I can’t be greedy I have had two in the last couple of weeks an Avocet and a Brent goose. Thanks for viewing and your reply.

Thanks SM yes there a lovely bird it popped it’s head above the hedgerow and the sun illuminated it bright yellow, I saw a few more further on but my favourite was the one above the hedgerow. Re the Red Kites I must have seen a dozen different birds. I was surprised at the lack of birds on the vast reservoir. But I still had a great day. Thanks for viewing and your reply
