If you watch the behaviour, that can also help ID a hoggie.
Also observe how the infrared beam interacts with the eyes, sometimes here is a different shine, but be carefull, it could be the angle of the light on the eye. Some of you may recall a couple of years back we had a hoggie with one eye considerably darker than the other. War wound, hereditary disorder or infection, I've no idea, but it still managed to get about and fend off intruders.
We have another one eye'd hoggie, very looks like a juvenile, and just as boisterous.
Son/Daughter of one eye perhaps, which could suggest genetic, or possibly something else.
