I used to pick rhubarb when I was a child - 100 years ago! in my uncle's allotment. My Auntie would then give me a dish of sugar to dip it in, and I would eat it raw. Didn't wash it or anything. No health and safety in those days ... .

Saw my first Butterfly of the year in the garden yesterday. Unfortunately it didn't hang about for a photo.... I believe it was a small white.
