Don’t worry I know it’s cause it’s breeding season. I just wondered weather you noticed it in the photo. I think it’s cooll that you managed to catch that aswell as the gull flying off with the long nesting material

I was treading carefully, having been burned too many times in the past for being blunt and forthright. Never quite know people's expertise or sensitivities. On the other hand, I have a reputation for being blunt and forthright, particularly at work.
There were a couple more pairs of gulls mating in the photos I took as I scanned along Tern island; so, yes, I did notice.
90% luck, 5% field craft, 5% camera skills.
