  Thanks. There from out my window. The ones of the gull flying There was starlings on the tree after they flew off the gull speared and was gliding but speared to be heading in my direction then changed course and went left and flew past my window the gull wasn’t a black headed gull and it wasn’t a black backed but a herring gull

  I thought it was a Herring Gull when I zoomed up on the photo.. Hardly ever see Starlings here just the odd one or two.
  
  Really frosty here this morning,, and it is like all the birds have disappeared expect the Crows. They must be made if sturdier stuff.

  A gull was circling out the garden window but was rideing  a spiralling column of air abouve the garden and was spiraling upwards Giveimg it lift and then once it did the high spiral it glided over the house
