I decided to remove the other fat balls cause only one was being eaten and it was mainly being eaten by the blue Tit and there was lots of them in there and I didn’t want them to go mouldy but most of the birds like the blue tit and great tit aswell as the the Starlings like the insect one aswell. So I left the insect dumpling ones. the Starlings love them
Having a bath:
That’s a very good close up of the Starling haveing a bath. also I got to mention it’s got a tufted bit on its head sticking up
A few photo's taken today:
Those are good action shots. You managed to get the Starling splashing aswell. It looks like the Starling is enjoying it in the photos
Yes I think they can be. They arnt interested in any other food I put out for them unless it has mealworms in it If I put things out that don’t have mealworms in the ingredients they tend not to be very interested. I have been puting insect suet pelllets and suet Nuggets out on my bird table recently. The Blue Tit picked up on it and the Robin but the Blackbird absolutely loved it and stuck around for some time but the Starlings havnt come to check that out yet so I think they have got there eyes on the insect fat balls at the moment or havnt picked up on the bird table yet
