Another great set of lovey photos SM, I have never seen a goldcrest or a Scarce chaser or a Muntjac Deer so thanks for sharing.

Thanks ILR. The reserve created a new small woodland pond beginning of the year. Up and till seeing the Goldcrest I hadn't seen anything using it and I have a look every time I go. As I walked up to it yesterday I saw a bird drop down from the tree, the Goldcrest. Shortly after I saw: Blue Tit, Great Tit, Song Thrust, Black Birds, Goldfinch and the Hornet.

They have quite a few Muntjac...

Thanks BD. I also saw a second Green Woodpecker today, it flew up from the ground as I walked along a trail. No chance for a photo, but no mistaking the screeching noise they make...

Well done SM some fabulous photos and a big big well done with the green woodpecker. I haven’t had the fortune to see a green woodpecker yet but I live in hope. The Kestrel looks like it has a mouse or a vole in its clutches.
