I saw some damselfly’s last year and sometimes get them locally out and about I thought I’d do a Dragonfly and damselfly thread If I get any il add them but you can add them aswell
I'll get a reply in on this ready for my first damsels, with also a link to last years thread, because I know where I will see some splendid banded damselflies.

It's still a little early for many, though I see Pimpernbloke has his first, so hopefully he'll share them on here now I've shared the link.

Boating Lake near the River Severn
My first Damselfly. By the time they came up close my I pad went off but there
was lots of them flying around and they were fun to watch
Our first Dragonfly of the season, seen at RSPB North Warren and something of rarity, a Norfolk Hawker, normally only seen in Norfolk and here in Suffolk. My wife spotted it from about 50 feet away when she saw light shimmering on it's wings.
