Beneath a crow sky @ Hampden Park Eastbourne

  • An interesting selection of photos and well captured.

  • My family and I often visit decoy pond at Hampden Park to feed the birds. We feed the ducks, geese and swans floating waterfowl food, and often the corvids want in on the action. I managed on a few occasions to have a carrion crow eat out of my hand!
Corvids are very intelligent and playful, and often we will throw food to them to catch and intercept as you have captured. We have also set little challenges for them by hiding food and making them use sticks to reach the food.
