Thanks Linda they were all playing hide and seek today hidden behind the branches of the hawthorn trees, and trying to focus on the birds was difficult to say the least. But for a change the sun was shining and the landscape looks so much nicer in the sun.

Thanks Nigel yes they brought a nice bit of colour to the day, and it’s always nice to see a Robin or two

I sent the link to a friend of mine and he said the same as you it brightens any day up. That’s why I put my photos on here, in these troubled times, if just one photo helps to brightens somebody’s day it’s worth the effort to take a nice photo. Plus it brightens my day too to see the photo I have taken.

Indeed, I agree with you both, in this horrid times that we all find ourselves in, it surely gives you a boost when you look at all the lovely photos and read the nice posts that folks are posting.

Yes it has been very bleak the past few days but what a treat to see the bullfinches in the sunshine, it lifts your spirits right up.

Thanks Mike, Yes we are lucky, I have seen them at quite a few different locations and i love the colours of them
I went out yesterday for a couple of hours or so and saw them again but they were well hidden behind the branches of the trees. It wasn't one of the best days for taking photos yesterday as there were some lads riding around on quad bikes and making all the grass a mud heap and what with all the noise its a wonder i saw anything at all. I was patient and eventually it quitened down. The pictures though left a lot to be desired as it became very dark in the afternoon.
I am staying local and walking to the venues i know, but because we are in tier three and I think most people are doing the same and there is more people about than normal especially at weekends. Might have to scout about for somewhere different for a while.
