Nothing quite like a rewarding walk in the park and to see so many beautiful birds including some greylags with mixed plumage ! Love the goldfinches, their tropical colours are enough to brighten any day.

Hi Hazel it was a nice day, the goldfinch just landed in mass for a few seconds in some wild flowers and I managed a couple of shots before they flew into a tree. The trees were all changing colour and it was nice to be out. The herons were in abundance as were the cormorants and I was hoping to see a kingfisher but no luck on that score. And as I was walking to the car one flew past me as if to say better luck next time. Lol.

Hi Linda there must have been over three hundred geese and the same amount of gulls as well as a load of cormorants and herons. They seemed to be as happy as I was to be out on a lovely Autumn day.

Thank you Denise, I was hoping to see a kingfisher as I had seen one the last time I was there. But not this time
