Nice variety of birds there ILR including two types of heron and a gorgeous Jay perched perfectly for you. The regular birds look very smart in their new plumage.

Lovely set of photos. I'm a fan of long-tailed tits and I've never really got a good shot as yet. Really great that you've caught them when they're not flitting about.

Thank you Clare, I was told there was a few about and must have walked for about two mile and not seen one then on my way back I saw one so in the end it was worth it, I love them as well.

Hi Jean, it must have been one of those days, like you I had not got the photos I would have liked. They were very photogenic on the day so I was very pleased to have some that I really liked.
