Lapwings ++

I guess because I usually see lapwings in small numbers while nesting the Peak District, I was delighted to see a huge flock of them at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve last week (shh Wildlife Trust not RSPB).  Something clearly spooked them and they flew off en masse right overhead, quite a spectacle.  It's also a great place to see dragonflies at the moment and some unusual creatures (spot the 4 winged lapwing and the long-legged sheep, presumably evolved for wading in the reed beds).
