I spent an amazing 20 minutes with this beautiful Shorty up on moorland in the Yorkshire Dales. The owl perched a few feet from my vehicle so I grabbed a few shots and not wanting to disturb it I just waited until it started hunting before moving off. The falling sun gave off a lovely pink tone.
