It's that time of year, the snowdrops for many of us will be in bloom closely followed by the crocuses.
Last week on my way home from work, I stopped of at Baddesley Clinton, a medieval moated house, where very often they have a good display of snowdrops, and the nearby St Michael's Church Baddesley Clinton, is also home to some brilliant natural floral displays.
I'll cut waffling and share the piccies.
A crocus complete with hoverfly, even in mid-February the insects have been busy!

I have to agree with you regarding the hoverflies, but with the unseasonal mini heatwave, it's hardly surprising they've come out early.

Well worth a visit Bob, and also the daffodils at St Michael's Church, Baddesley Clinton.
They should be in full bloom towards the end of March.

I'm so lucky to have such an abundance of wild flowers relatively close by.
I'm hoping this year the daffs will put on a good display as they have in the past, though sadly last year, during the wet spell before the hot summer, they never really bloomed much.
