OK, the difference may be DPP, I'm using Photoshop elements. It looks like DPP doesn't display all the exif that can be derived from the image metadata. If I open the deer pic (at the top of your Flickr stream) in PSE and hunt through the advanced file info, I can find the approximate focus distance of 76.6m (does that sound about right?). So DPP is using the data to generate a limited sub-set of the exif whilst PSE is (presumably) producing the full set. I didn't realise that! (I can't see it in DPP either)
