Not very good pics I'm afraid, but the best I could do from the kitchen window.
Nice one Lesley Targett! Very colourful, There are no berries left up here. Everywhere is white!
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Thank you. No snow here. Very frosty this morning. The last snow we had was two weeks before Christmas and then only about an inch. The blackbirds are having a field day on the berries.
Lovely photos Lesley - well captured. The birds have eaten all the berries on our shrubs now but I feed them the berry suet pellets which they love.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Great pics Lesley! Such a lovely bird!

Hi Lesley, just noticed your avatar - is he/she your dog?
Hi Lesley, lovely pics, beautiful berries/bush, may I ask what type of bush it is? I am looking to grow more bushes / plants with berries.
Thanks Lesley, lovely pictures. I am surprised you still have so many berries left. The birds started eating them when we had the snow before Christmas and I can't see any now.
My avatar is my lovely female Westie, Hattie. She is three years old and obviously in need of a pamper day in this photo. We love her to bits.
Hi, the tree was already in the garden when we moved in, but looking in garden books, I think it is a Cotoneaster cornubia. it has white flowers in the Spring/Summer and these glorious red berries in autumn/Winter. The weather has been very mild here until recently, hence the abundance of berries still left on the tree.
Hi Lesley, Hattie is lovely - but then I adore Westies. I always liked them but liked them even more after the one that won Crufts cocked his leg against the winner's table!
