Cuckoos are back in Nidderdale (one was calling in a snow storm last week) and we had hoped to go on a cuckoo hunt today but ended up on grand parent duties. We did have 14 Swifts yesterday.
Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
The Swallows have been back for nearly two weeks. They`ve travelled all those miles & all they want to do is chase one another around! ? And I can`t fathom out why this visiting wagtail has decided to stay here this year.
