Photographed today at Duddingston Loch, Edinburgh. The gulls were quite small, but some had yellow bills and some had red bills.

Gulls are for experts LOL I wouldn't dream of even guessing. To me they're all seagulls until someone tells me different.

Looks like you hav spotted a couple of lovely wee Black Headed Gulls - 1st an adult in winter plumge the 2nd a 1st winter juv.
Great wee spot of a lovely wee gull wonderful pics, the reflections in the 1st are briliant.
Just done kids, so sure someone has popped into help.

I would say black-headed gulls, the red beak is adult, the yellow one 1st winter - but I am not an expert in gulls...

Yes Aiki, I know make a change from the primes lol, thought the zoom would save me having to move my feet! hee hee.
Sigma have made some improvements on this new lens, the OS is silent and very good, liking it very very much.
