... we have the office window open for a while each da to change the air and I noticed the most minute 'froghopper' type insect (Cicadellidae family). Not yet IDed which species. It was only about 5 mm long but I took pics anyway, and was amazed to see how much they actually do look like a cicada (cigale)!! Now I understand them being in the same family!!

Very interesting little fella! Did he produce the sound of a cicada? some people find it irritating but I actually quite like it.

The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
