(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Hello, I would say it is Redwing, rather than Fieldfare, but happy to be corrected. Just for you to note, you may want to change your user name from you private email. This is an open site and you could be at risk for unwanted emails, etc. Easy to change it, at the top right, click the wee circle, go into profile, then edit profile will show a bit down the right hand side, click that and you can now change the name in the top left box, then save profile.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thanks Linda, I did look at the differences and thought I just could not see the red underwing and thought the stripe over the eye was not as bold.

I have posted this link from the RSPB website many times before!. Although the Redwing is mainly an Autumn/Winter visitor. There is a small resident nesting/breeding. Population of Redwings in Northern Scotland as seen below. There are also a very small and smaller nesting/breeding population of Fieldfares in Northern Scotland as well. In the map below the small green area is where Redwings nest/breed in Northern Scotland!
Regards,
Ian.

There are only a few pairs of Fieldfares that nest in the UK at present. The number of Fieldfares that spend the winter in the UK is huge!
