Black duck with white bib

It is most likely a hybrid x. Possibly a Moscovy / Mallard. That tends to lean towards a black and white bird - it can get quite tricky sometimes to tell what the hybrids are

A feral hybrid farm duck, with *possibly* some Indian Runner and Swedish in its lineage. And quite possibly female looking at the company.

If you Google “manky mallards” you’ll be find hundreds of very different looking birds, all apparently descended from the same small flock of domesticated Anas platyrhynchos.

Mucky Ducks are Duck species which have have intermingled with other species of duck. So it produces lots of colourations , behaviour on the party edge etc ..

Hence to saying 'Mucky Duck' is a hybrid duck
