Hi all. Just wondering if the gull in the background might be something other than Lesser Black Backed? Was taken at Ferrybridge (South coast, Dorset) last week. Legs and beak look very pale yellow to me, and there appears to be a spot on both bottom and top of the bill?
Any help gratefully received :o)

I thought that might be what you were trying to subtly tell us!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
